Ø  Draw the pictograph to show the data.

I taught the lesson on the topic “Pictograph” on 25th November, 2022. Since this topic was new for them, it became very difficult for me to make them understand the concept of the topic. So, what I have done was I taught them the lesson in the class and in order to give them more information about the pictograph I took them to ICT lab and let them watch two video clips on you tube.

I have observed that students learn better with visual aids and YouTube is a visual aid. Because it allowed students to physically see what is being taught and helped them to understand the lesson better. I also observed that Children give much more attention to the videos than those in the traditional teaching environment. This made learning comfortable and easy for the students as well as for me.  More over the use of You Tube videos in the class was handy for me and fun for learners. Because Students were more engaged with visually motivating activities and are I found out that watching videos is better than reading text in the books and notes.

Since there were several terms and phrases that I found difficult to convey to them in class. I was able to better communicate complicated concepts, techniques, and ideas by using YouTube as a virtual library and providing learners with access to videos. Furthermore, because demonstration is the most effective way to get a message across, visual contexts helped my students easily acquire and retain knowledge as well as develop specific skill sets.

On that particular day, the teaching of a new lesson topic went off without a hitch. After coming back to the class every student shared their opinions with the class, which resulted in a high level of class involvement.
